Last Minute Valentine’s Day DIY!

I can’t believe it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow already!

I had so many plans for Tila and me but moving to another country kind of crossed them all – but one!
We decided to do something really simple and cute for daddy and these mugs turned out quite nice. Needless to say Tila’s is a lot cuter!

Anyhow if you’re in a last-minute Valentine gift dilemma as well and this is something you like you’ll only need a mug and some porcelain pens.

After you’re done with drawing you have to put them in a cold oven, turn it on 160°C for 90 minutes then turn the oven off and leave the mugs in until everything cools down.

And if you have a kid that handles to stay still for more than 10 minutes (yes, we came from 5 to 10!) you can make some really cute, one of a kind mugs –take a look for some inspiration! I had to draw my hearts with sound speed! And Tila refused to do the cheesy sun, cloud, heart illustration – she just wanted to stick at her favorite, abstract technique.
