Last-Minute Xmas DIY: Potato Print Wrapping Paper

22 Dec

I have plenty of craft paper, lots of unused paint and a whole bunch of gift wrapping to do so I came up with this fun DIY project and thought you might like it and maybe it could come in handy for some last-minute gift wrappers like me!

It’s super easy and all you need (besides the paper and paints) is a few big potatoes and a craft knife or even a usual, kitchen knife will do.

You can also use the cookie cutter in order to make more complicated shapes, plus that way is much easier.

I have found this great video from Martha Stewart doing the same thing so I decided to skip the instructions part this time and let her do that part for me!

Love, love, love this. My sister screenprints her own wrapping paper every year and I always feel massively inferior. I think next year we’ll definitely have to do this…
